The Fisher-Price Adventure People
were a line of toys produced from the mid 1970s to the early 1980s. The sets consisted of 3 1/2 inch high
figures, vehicles, and equipment sold in boxes and on cards. The toys were designed for older children to use their
imaginations and create their own adventures. The motto was "The Adventure People: Where you make up the stories!".
There were over 50 sets produced including the carded figures, and many have become very collectible and highly sought after.
There is no doubt that Adventure People collectors love the original boxes!
This page was created by a few
dedicated members of the Fisher-Price Collectors Club who amongst them had just about every set in the original box! We thank them
for taking the time to share their collections!
Below is a list of all the Adventure People sets, plus all the illustrated carded figures arranged by set number.
The set numbers range from #303 to #399. There are variations and part substitutions that we don't mention since
it's too time-consuming to get into that level of detail, but it should serve OK as a rough guide!
These Adventure People webpages are hosted on 2 different sites run by
the Fisher-Price Collectors Club: on our official webpage www.fpclub.org and
also on our sister site at www.fpadventuretoys.com.com.

|
|

bench, fence and net.
|
|
Box: In stores, this set was sold in 2 different boxes that we know of: a blue box with

most of any set. The boxes include: the earliest blue square box (no clear window);
the blue box with the clear front; the tan box with the clear front; and an illustrated box
(that shows primarily sky and clouds) with a clear front. The square blue box is so rare that most
collectors don't even know it exists. The illustrated box is very rare as well. The photo here shows
the clear-front blue box and the tan box.

9. Set #312: Northwoods Trailblazer |
|
Years Made: 1977 to 1981 |
Number of Pieces: 9 |
|
Description:
Set has 2 figures, gray canoe, 2 orange paddles, orange motor, blue cloth tent, orange tent poles, and a jeep.
Figures include: man with tan skin wearing a white shirt, green pants, black boots and red hat; man with brown
shirt, gray hair, tan pants and brown boots. The jeep could be of 2 variations: yellow-bodied jeep with orange seats and
an orange undercarriage; or an orange-bodied jeep with yellow seats and a yellow undercarriage. The jeep also has
a circular logo with a mallard duck and fish.
The gray canoe could also have the circular logo on it - this variation is rather
rare and some collectors go nuts for it! The tent color has at least 2 variations - we seen light blue or dark blue.
Of the two variations of the jeep, neither seems more rare than the other.
Overall collectors tend to really like this set, a nostalgic favorite!
|
|
Box: This set was sold in 2 different boxes: the classic tan color box, and an
illustrated box.
|
|
Figure Names: The older man in the brown shirt and tan pants is Brad; the man in the red
hat with the white shirt and green pants is Hawk. The collector universe generally accepts the
premise that Hawk is native American.

10. Set #318: Daredevil Sport Van |
|
Years Made: 1978 to 1982 |
Number of Pieces: 9 or 10 |
|
Description: A very popular set!
Set has 2 figures, one blue/black motorcycle, one blue canoe, parachute with connected harness, bike rack,
blue paddle, green van, yellow storage bag for parachute, and shag carpet. The figures include: man with
bendable knees, red shirt, tan pants and blue helmet; man with yellow shirt, red helmet, and blue pants.
At some point, Fisher-Price ran out of the man with the yellow shirt, so the
figure from the #354 Skydiver set
(man in all-white with blue stars and red helmet) was substituted in many later-produced sets.
The shag carpet was only included in the earliest sets made; it was omitted later (the earlier tan box set mentions the
carpet, but the later-made illustrated box does not). The bike rack is very hard to find. The blue motorcycle also
ran out at some point and was substituted with the green "lightning" motorcycle from the #356 Cycle Racing Team.
The green van is still very easy to find on Ebay.
|
|
Box: This set came in the classic tan box, then later in an illustrated box. The insert is made of styrofoam.
|
|
Figure Names: The red shirt man with the bent knees is Dean. The man with the yellow (or white) shirt is Bill.

gas can and especially the flag are hard to find.

13. Set #325: Alpha Probe |
|

Number of Pieces: 6 |
|
Description: Set includes 6 pieces: 2 astronaut figures one male and one female; white tether;
Alpha Probe space shuttle; second smaller spaceship called "Alpha Recon"; and gray engine piece that is detachable.
The gray engine can attach to either the smaller spaceship or the larger Alpha Probe shuttle. The female figure could
also have blond hair, but she is much rarer than the brunette version. The figures were only sold with this set.
The tether is the same used in Firestar I.
The shuttle takes a 9-volt battery and has 3 buttons that make various sounds which can be loud! Interestingly, the
smaller ship has the same name (Alpha Recon) as a separate set made later (#360 Alpha Recon) which looks completely different.
Guess Fisher-Price just loved the name!
|
|
Box: This set was sold in an illustrated box. The box differs from many previous sets as it is a solid box and
has no cellophane (you can't see the toy inside the box). The box is black and shows a space scene.

collectors will pay up to get them! Very hard set to find in the original box. Set also came with a sheet of stickers for
kids to decorate the van.

Number of Pieces: 5 |
|
Description: Set contains 5 pieces: male in a green swimsuit with brown hair; female with blond hair
wearing a green swimsuit; 2 orange scuba tanks; yellow/orange raft. As far as we know, there were never any

are some look-alike rafts out there in different color schemes and sizes.
|
|
Box: This set was sold in 2 different packaging: the tan card, and also in an "Action Pack" illustrated box. Best
as we can tell, the card was sold from 1976-1979, and the Action Pack box from 1980-1981, give or take.

|
Years Made: 1977 to 1981 |
Number of Pieces: 2 |
|
Description: Daredevil Skydiver is a 2-piece set that came with a parachute and one figure.
The figure is a male in a white suit with blue stripes with stars on his arms and legs. He wears a red helmet
and black shoes, rarely he could have blue shoes. This figure is often mistaken for Evel Knievel, which he sure isn't!
The parachute has 3 panels - red, yellow and white. The white panel has blue stars and says
"Fisher-Price Adventure People". There possibly is another
version of the parachute with lighter blue stars, but not 100% sure of that. There were tons of these sets sold.

23. Set #355: White Water Kayak |
|
Years Made: 1977 to 1981 |
Number of Pieces: 6 |
|
Description: Set contains 6 pieces: Male kayaker, red kayak, red paddle, blue buoy, green buoy, and white buoy.
There were 2 different figures that could come with this set: a male kayaker in a lined vest with white pants; or a
male kayaker with a smooth green shirt and bare legs. The smooth shirt/bare legs kayaker is far less common.
|
|
Box: This set was sold in 2 very different packages. The earlier sets were sold on the tan card, and later ones were sold in an
illustrated "Action Pack" set. The kayaker with the white pants was sold in both card and box. The bare-legged kayaker was sold on the card but
it's unknown whether he also came in the box; most likely he was made as an end-run production substitution for the carded sets around 1979.
|
|
Figure Names: The tan card lists his name as Chet.
Regardless of which of the 2 versions of the man were used in the set, he's Chet. The illustrated box lists no name.

24. Set #356: Cycle Racing Team |
|
Years Made: 1977 to 1983 |
Number of Pieces: 4 |
|
Description: Set contains 4 pieces: Male motorcycler with yellow helmet, orange shirt with white sleeves, black boots
and legs that bend; male figure with yellow helmet, orange shirt, brown pants and black boots; a green motorcycle with
either the number "356" on the front or a checkerboard; green sidecar that attaches to the motorcycle. This set is a
favorite among Adventure People collectors, as they love the motorcycle! The motorcycle with "356" on the front is the older
of the two versions. The orange shirt/brown pants figure is (in our opinion) the most common Adventure People figure made,
since he came in this set as well as 2 versions of the individual cards.
|
|
Box: This set was sold in 2 different packaging: the tan card, and the "Action Pack" illustrated box. From what we can
tell, the motorcycle with "356" on the front was sold on the tan card, and the motorcycle with the checkerboard/lightning design
was sold in the Action Pack. The tan card was sold from around 1977 to 1979/1980; the boxed version was from around 1980 to 1983.
|
|
Figure Names: The tan card reveals their names: The motorcycle rider in orange with bendable knees is Dean;
the man in orange with brown pants is Vince.

Years Made: 1980 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 3 |
|
Description: Firestar I is a 3-piece set which includes an android astronaut, white tether, and
a one-seat spaceship. The spaceship could be either gray or black. The android's head is the same used on
X-Ray Man, green with blueish-purple hair. (Maybe piloting Firestar 1 is X-Ray Man's side job?).
It is very easy to find the figure and spaceship on Ebay; the tether is the hard piece to find!

27. Set #359: Land Speed Racer |
|
Years Made: 1981 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 2 |
|
Description: The Land Speed Racer came with 2 pieces: a yellow super-fast car, and a driver. The driver has
an all-red suit, black shoes and a black helmet. He was only sold in this set.
There was a figure who was rarely substituted in this set,
the #372 Supersonic Pilot (possibly in end-run Canadian sets) but the red figure was the usual one sold.
The yellow race car slides open so the figure can sit in the driver's seat.

|
Box: This set was sold as one of the "Action Packs" with an illustrated box.

28. Set #360: Alpha Recon |
|
Years Made: 1982 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 3 |
|
Description: Alpha Recon is a 3-piece set which includes: one white astronaut figure with a man wearing
a white hood (seen through the visor); an orange space vehicle; and one gray radar. It appears that Alpha Recon's
exciting mission is to explore the surface of distant planets. Since this set was made in the last years of
the Adventure People's production, this set in the box still pops up often on Ebay.

29. Set #366: Mystery Prototype Set (Never Made it to Production) |
|
Years Made: Maybe Around 1982? (Just a guess!) |
Number of Pieces: ??? |
|
Description:
We are including this set in this list just to drive Adventure People collectors insane. From what Fisher-Price collectors could piece together,
Fisher-Price was going to make a set #366 but for some reason, it never made it into production.
But one prototype figure was made for this theoretical set: man in white sleeves, yellow shirt and pants,
black helmet with a gray visor. On his sleeve is the number 366, which is why collectors suspect that
was the theoretical set he was created for. But what was the set going to be and why was it abandoned?
No one knows. Some suspect set #366 would have been
similar to the kit set Heuy Cobra helicopter, but that is just speculation.
A few very lucky diehard Adventure People collectors own this
very rare figure. He pretty much could only be bought from someone with ties to an employee of Fisher-Price from
the time the prototype was produced.
|
|
Box: Since it is suspected this figure was a prototype, probably no box was ever made.

30. Set #367: Turbo Hawk |
|
Years Made: 1982 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 3 when assembled |
|
Description: Turbo Hawk was a different type of Adventure People set: it came as a kit for kids to put
together themselves. It came with many different parts which created a blue jet. It came with one figure:
man in a white shirt and pants with a white helmet and black shoes. His face is completely covered by the helmet.
This figure was unique to this set. The cockpit hatch is often missing.
The set also came with a white stand which is usually missing (as it is in our photo!); collectors sometimes pay up
just for this one piece.
This set was one of four kit sets sold in the Adventure People line.

Box: This set was sold in an illustrated box. The box was solid; no clear plastic to see inside.

31. Set #368: Alpha Interceptor |
|
Years Made: 1982 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 4 when assembled |
|
Description: Set came as a kit that kids could put together themselves. When assembled, the set had a 2-piece
spaceship with one astronaut and a white tether. The astronaut is wearing an orange space suit and his head can be seen through
the face shield of his helmet. His head is the same as the blue diver from #323 Aero Marine Rescue Team, and also
#384 Frogman. The tether is unique to this set, and different than the one sold in #325 Alpha Star and
#357 Firestar I. The spaceship has 2 parts - a square base with a round hole that the smaller round ship can fit inside.
This set was one of four kits sold in the Adventure People line.

32. Set #369: Ground Shaker |
|
Years Made: 1982 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 4 big pieces when assembled |
|
Description: Set came as a kit that kids could put together themselves. When assembled, the set had a
yellow "funny car" race car shell with a red undercarriage frame, a ladder piece that would hold up the frame, and one figure.
The male figure has a large white helmet, black shirt and pants, and red gloves and boots. The man's face is not visible through the helmet.
The ladder is hard to find for this set. (The engine for the car is missing in the photo). This set was one of four kit sets sold in
the Adventure People line.

33. Set #370: Trail Boss |
|
Years Made: 1982 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 2 pieces when assembled |
|
Description: This set came as a kit that kids could put together themselves. When assembled, the set had a
brown 4x4 pickup truck and one male figure. The figure has a yellow shirt, blue pants, black boots, tan hat and
dark hair with a beard. The figure was only sold with this set.
The set came with a little triangular screw driver so kids could screw the pieces together.
Often the tailgate is missing and the floodlights are frequently broken off, so finding a good one can be tricky!
This set is one of four kit sets in the Adventure People line.

34. Set #371: Opticon |
|
Years Made: 1982 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. Opticon was only sold on this card and was never sold with
a set. Opticon is a very unusual figure in the Adventure People line. He is an orange robot with long straight arms and legs,
with a large red "eye" in his chest. He can open up and unfold to make him stand taller. His arms move up and down.
Collectors love Opticon since well, he is just cool! Opticon was made at the end of the production line
so it is a very rare figure to find! He usually sells very well.
|
|
Box: Illustrated card showing the robot Opticon preforming duties on his spaceship (along with another
Opticon), which involve putting his "hands" into slots in the command panel.
|
|
Figure Names: The card lists the robot's name as Opticon.

35. Set #372: Supersonic Pilot |
|
Years Made: 1982 to 1983 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. Man in red helmet with white sleeves, blue shirt and pants,
yellow visor and black shoes. Figure was almost exclusively sold on this card; but he rarely was used
as a substitution in the #359 Land Speed Racer set (we seen him in Canadian versions of that toy).
He is not a common figure to find.
|
|
Box: Illustrated card show the Supersonic Pilot in the cockpit of his supersonic jet.
Another jet can be seen outside his window which resembles the Turbo Hawk jet. Exciting stuff!

Figure Names: The card just lists his name as Supersonic Pilot.

36. Set #373: Highway Trooper |
|
Years Made: 1981 to 1983 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. Policeman with a blue helmet, black shirt, gray pants with
blue stripes, and black boots. Figure was only sold on this card; he never came in a set.
Can be difficult to find one with the badge intact.
|
|
Box: Illustrated card shows the Highway Trooper riding his police motorcycle, with another policeman behind
him. Sadly Fisher-Price never sold the figure with the police motorcycle as its own set! That would have been awesome!

Figure Names: The card just lists his name as Highway Trooper.

37. Set #374: Space Commander |
|
Years Made: 1981 to 1983 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. Man with white hair and beard in an all-red suit with gold accents.
This figure was only sold on this card and never came in a set. He appears to be very wise and
dignified as he commands his spaceship, exploring the uncharted areas of space. He is not a common figure to find.
|
|
Box: Illustrated card showing what we presume is the command bridge of a spaceship where the
Space commander is in charge. Interestingly, another
crewmember of the spaceship can be seen in the background, but sadly this figure
was never made into a set! Other cards show figures in the background
that really existed, but this one was an exception to that rule.

Figure Names: The card just lists his name as Space Commander.

38. Set #375: Sky Surfer |
|
Years Made: 1978 |
Number of Pieces: Lots! |
|
Description: The hardest set to find intact with the box. A Holy Grail for many Adventure People collectors!
The Sky Surfer is a legendary set in the world of Adventure People since it was only made for one year.
The set consists of one figure,
a cloth kite, a plastic tail, a cord that winds, plus other pieces to support the kite (we admit we
didn't count the pieces). The figure is the same as the #388 Stunt Man.
The kite was intended to actually fly and be controlled with the cord.
But .... that isn't what happened. The legend is that this set
was quickly taken out of production since it simply didn't work. The kite really didn't fly at all and there was
concern it could be a safety hazard, so Fisher-Price removed it from production. All of this makes it a very
hard set to find, and even harder in the original box. This set in the original box should sell VERY well!
|
|
Box: This set sold in a very long and narrow tan box, easily the tallest Adventure People box by far.

39. Set #377: Astro Knight |
|
Years Made: 1979-1980 |
Number of Pieces: 2 |
|
Description: 2-piece set with a figure and a hang glider. This set contains one of 2 variations:
a tan figure with a square helmet with a white and red and orange hang glider; or a blue figure with a square helmet
with a red and blue hang glider. The figure is unique among Adventure People in that his body and legs are stiff; only
his arms move up and down, and his head turns a little to the side. This design is to make him stiff enough to fit
the hang glider without flopping around. The hang glider does glide if thrown the right way. The 2 figures were
also sold on the #379 individual card.
|
|
Box: As far as we know, this set was only sold in a square tan box in stores. The back of the box is blank.
|
|
Figure Name: The back of the box is blank, so no name was listed.

40. Set #378: X-Ray Woman |
|
Years Made: 1980 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. X-Ray Woman was only sold on this card; she was never sold
with a set. X-Ray Woman is a green translucent female robot who resides on a spaceship. She, along with
her counterpart X-Ray Man, are the only figures made of a more bendy-plastic material, so they have a
different feel to them. X-Ray Woman is not a common figure and finding one in good shape can be tricky,
since the paint on the control panel can wear off, plus the limbs can break off more easily than most figures.
|
|

41. Set #379: Astro Knight (Individual Carded Figure) |
|
Years Made: 1980 to 1982 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. 2 different figures were sold on this card, which
were the same 2 figures sold in the #377 Astro Knight set. The figure could
be the tan man with black boots, or the blue man with silver boots. These figures have a design
unique to the Adventure People line, as they had no bendable waist or moveable legs. His
arms move but turn in an arc. His head moves but barely. He was made "stiff" so he could
fit the glider in the #377 set and not flop around.
|
|
Box: Astro Knight was sold on a unique illustrated card. Interestingly, this card completely changes his story
from the #377 Astro Knight glider set, giving him a far more exciting look. The card's illustrations show Astro Knight
as a highly-skilled daring
space explorer
gliding through outer space, apparently so powerful he does not need any breathing apparatus.
Wow! Maybe Fisher-Price wanted to present
a "cooler" image for Astro Knight!

Figure Names: The card just lists his name as Astro Knight.

42. Set #380: Clawtron |
|
Years Made: 1980 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. Clawtron is a robot with an entirely black body with a black
helmet, with both arms have a claw instead of a hand. Yes he's quite awesome! Clawtron was only sold on
this individual card. He uses the same mold as the Indy Diver, Land Speed Racer and Supersonic Pilot.
Clawtron was only sold on this card.
It can be hard to find a Clawtron in good condition since the control panel on his chest often is missing paint.

43. Set #381: x-Ray Man |
|
Years Made: 1980 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |

Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. X-Ray man is a very interesting figure: an entirely translucent green android/robot
with purple-blue hair and a control panel on his chest. Yes pretty cool! He was only sold on this card; he never
came in a set. His limbs feel a bit more rubbery than most, probably because the material to
make him translucent is different from the plastic used for the rest of the Adventure People.
|
|
Box: X-Ray man was only sold on an illustrated individual card in a blister pack. Interestingly, you can see

figures sold on this card: African-American man in a gold suit and white helmet; or man in all blue
with blond hair and a headset with earphones. These figures were both sold in other sets. The
gold pilot was sold in the #305 Rescue Copter; the blue man was sold in the #323 Aero-Marine Rescue.

coming to rescue people from a tanker fire. Exciting stuff!

green cross wearing all white. All the figures were sold in other sets as well. This card is the only one
that could have 3 different figures sold on it.

octopus insignia on his shirt. On the card, he is diving underwater (no scuba gear with this card)
to examine a large octopus (clearly he can hold his breath for quite some time!).
His head is covered and no hair shows. He is the same figure
sold in the #323 Aero-Marine Search Team set. Since he came in 2 sets, the figure is usually not hard to find.

47. Set #385: Cycle Racer |
|
Years Made: 1980 to 1982 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |

Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. Man in yellow helmet, orange shirt with white sleeves,
brown pants and black boots. He is the same figure sold in the #356 Cycle Racing Team set and also sold on
the late 1970's #399 individual tan card. He may be the most
common figure made (can't prove it, but it seems all collectors wind up with tons of these!).
Interestingly, the motorcycle
has the number "318" on it (which is the same as the Daredevil Sports Van set), though this figure was never
sold in that set.

The card shows him driving a dune buggy. He is not a common figure, but not rare either.

50. Set #388: Stunt Man |
|
Years Made: 1980 - 1981 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. The stunt man figure has an interesting back story. He was originally made
for the #375 Sky Surfer set, but the set was discontinued after one year because it didn't work well. He then
gets a second life rebranded on this individual illustrated card. Stunt man is shorter than all other Adventure People
figures and the molds were unique for this figure; no other figure looks anything like him. Even though he is a rare figure since
not many were made, he has never been on the most-wanted list of collectors. He just never had the "wow" factor it seems.
Still, no collection is complete without a stunt man!

Box: Stunt Man was only sold on an illustrated individual card in a blister pack. The figure was also sold in the

He wears an all-gray suit with an enclosed heavy gray helmet. He is one of the rarer figures and collectors look for him.
Due to being made at the tail-end of the production line, there were not many Alpha Pilots made therefore making him

52. Set #390: Brainoid |
|
Years Made: 1983 to 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description:
One figure on a unique illustrated card. Brainoid is probably the most sought-after figure in the Adventure People line, hands-down!
He wears a heavy spacesuit with a control panel in the chest, has a claw, and an exposed brain inside a clear helmet. Yes figures don't come any cooler than this!
Brainoid has 2 variations - a left arm/right claw figure, and the opposite right arm/left claw figure. Brainoid on the
original card in good condition can be worth a lot of money. Brainoid often has a cloudy helmet, so clear ones can sell
very well. Every Adventure People collector wants to have a Brainoid in their collection!

53. Set #394: 3-Pack |
|
Years Made: 1982 - 1984 |
Number of Pieces: 3 |
|
Description:
Three figures on an illustrated card. There were many different 3-figure combinations that were sold on
this card. Some known combinations include: Brainoid/Opticon/Alpha Pilot (most sought after);
Space Commander/Clawtron/Supersonic Pilot;
Frogman/Supersonic Pilot/Astro Knight; Aero-Marine Pilot/Dune Buster/Highway Trooper;
Supersonic Pilot/Opticon/Clawtron; and Space Commander/Clawtron/Astro Knight.
|
|
Box: The same card was used for all the different combination of figures that were sold in the 3-pack.
It shows a space scene with planets, since many of the figures had an air/space theme to them, but not all
(Frogman, Dune Buster and Highway Trooper certainly weren't working in space!).

54. Set #399: Individual Figure on a Tan Card |
|
Years Made: 1978-1980 |
Number of Pieces: 1 |
|
Description: One individual figure sold on a plain tan card. There were 12 figures that are
verified to have been sold on the card, and 1 that we are 99.999% sure came on the card.
Verified are: tan dad, yellow mom, and blue boy from the Safari set; yellow racer man from Super Speed Racer;
green "newer" ranger from Wilderness Patrol; parachuter from Daredevil Skydiver; motorcycler with orange shirt and
brown pants from Cycle Racing Team; Male in blue and woman in white from Rescue Team; African-American pilot from
Rescue Copter; Male in red cap and dark green pants and older man in brown shirt and tan pants from
Northwoods Trailblazer.
The 99.99% sure one is the blue woman paramedic from the Rescue Truck (the one in our photo may
have been previously opened so we can't verify that it is authentic, but we are pretty sure she was sold on the card).
One member in the Fisher-Price Collectors Club swears she remembers seeing the
"older" green ranger from Wilderness Patrol
being sold on a tan card when she was a child, but we haven't be able to verify this.
(It would make sense since the newer Wilderness Patrol ranger definitely was sold on the tan card).
|
|
Box: One figure sold on a plain tan card. There are no illustrations at all. Even the back is blank.
Some cards have "399" on them, and some don't.
|
|
Figure Names: No names are listed on the card since various figures were used on the same card. Interestingly,
every figure sold had a name in their original sets (Susan, Bill, Hawk, Buzz, Alexandra, Jess, Jim, Vince, Scott,
Johnny, Tom/Mike, Nancy and Brad).

1. Set #259: Bunk Beds (Dollhouse Decorator Set) |
|
Years Made: 1979 to 1982 |
Number of Pieces: 5 |
|
Description: This set is not from the Adventure People line of toys, but strangely enough, it contains
a genuine Adventure Person! This set was sold to be used as an accessory for the #250 Dollhouse. It came with 2
yellow bunk beds, a female figure, and 2 mattresses made out of cloth. The figure was made from the same molds and is the same scale as the Adventure People, so
she most certainly is an Adventure People figure! She has brown hair, a white shirt and red pants. This set's existence puzzled
children - why sell bunk beds with just one figure?? By definition, you need 2 figures to fill those beds! That's the whole
point of bunk beds!
